周五晚的英文课

今天感觉不错，晚上没有感觉昏昏欲睡，也许咖啡因奏效，在精神饱满的情况下上好一堂英文课。

决定用思维导图记录学到的知识，一让自己对今日所学有了更清晰的思路，二是方便日后复习。

在这堂课要结束的时候，老师给了我们一个句子要我们去辨别这个句子是否正确。

I am confusing about everything. Can you please repeat that again?

你觉得呢？我答不出哪里错了。

其实很多处都错了。

1️⃣第一个错误➩这里的confusing是adjective形容词,不是verb 动词。

confusing＝an adjective that means something is unclear 形容这一个物品/东西很混乱/让人混淆

例句：The forum was so confusing that she switched off her computer.

confuse = verb 动词 - make somebody/something more complex

例句：We can confuse them by giving some difficult questions.

+ion ☛confusion = noun名词 -state of being confused/uncertainty

例句：There seems to be some confusion about which proposal to choose.

老师还给了很多例子，比如

communicate▶communication

accommodate▶accommodation

educate▶education

除了confusing是形容词，confused也是

confused = an adjective that describe when someone feels unable to think clearly形容人物的感觉（感到很迷茫/不确定）

例句： He was so confused about this.

很多时候，我们常用中文直接翻译英文句子，最常看到的错句就是

I am so boring.❎

应该这样写 

I'm so bored, because the lesson is so boring.✅

2️⃣第二个错误➩就是 can,应该替换去could. Could 一方面表达过去式，也比较正式和有礼貌。

3️⃣第三个错误➩repeat + again = redundant 多余的，过剩的，所以只能择一。

      

      Could you please repeat that?  /    Could you say it again?

正确的句子如下：

I am confused about everything. Could you please repeat that?

I am confused about everything. Could you please say that again?

说点 “夜话”

 “熬夜”对年纪渐长的自己来说是个杀伤力极大的武器。如不是哪根筋不对劲，绝对绝对绝对不会那么反常。当然，我还是喜欢夜里那股静谧神秘的气息，让我可以回顾过去，看清现状，计划未来。也在此刻想到曾经的部落格。

那时的夜里除了与星星对望，万家灯火和行走的车灯相伴外，少不了眼前逐一延续的文字。诉不尽的心情，说不出的话语，在字里行间穿梭，上演一场你找我藏的游戏。也许心思不在，再多的提示还是无法解开那么容易的一道题。失眠就此展开数日数月。

夜再长，黎明终究会来，不管愿不愿意。
